Due to a recent change in the law (SB 1932), eligibility requirements to become a Texas Registered Interior Designer (RID) have changed. Under the new law in effect now, anyone who has passed the NCIDQ exam may be eligible for registration. How to Apply

Individuals may apply for licensure as a registered interior designer in Texas by one of two methods:

• Prior Exam
• Registration by Reciprocity

Individuals who have forfeited their registration may, under certain conditions, apply for reinstatement of their registration.
